Alice is a beautifully converted 28-foot ship’s lifeboat, designed to carry up to 11 passengers (plus the occasional well-behaved pooch!). Every guest enjoys their own personal underwater viewing port—offering a rare chance to see beneath the surface as you travel.

Comfort and safety are at the heart of every trip. Alice is fully equipped with lifejackets, a life raft, flares, twin VHF radios, GPS navigation, and depth sounder technology. Her deep, secure cockpit and spacious seating ensure you can relax and enjoy the journey with complete peace of mind.

Our trips are carefully designed to stay within the beauty of the loch—because we simply don’t need to go far to find something special. Instead of long journeys out to sea, we spend more time where it matters most.

You’ll cruise across the loch to places like Badachro and Shieldaig, as well as the surrounding islands, giving you a rich and varied experience without ever straying too far from shore.

Scottish weather is fickle. One minute rain, and the next, sun. We suggest you have waterproofs and warm clothing with you for your trip. All being well you’ll not have to use them. But even on those warm days ashore; on the water it will be chillier and who can foretell when it’s about to rain? Although you will be seated beneath a roof, rain does not always come straight down.
We like to think that we provide a pet friendly service (Your pet is on holiday too). As long as your dog is on a lead and under control it shouldn’t be a problem.
Yes, if you have some mobility we can assist you to get safely down the ramp and onto the boat. Unfortunately, we cant take wheelchair bound persons onboard, due to space restrictions and the sides of the boat, but if you can stand with assistance, then we can arrange for plenty of help to get you there.

Hmmmm… I don’t think we’ve had a day when we’ve not seen seals. And we generally have a pot or two out to allow us to get up in-close and personal with crabs or lobsters, maybe even an octopus. But everything else is dependant upon the day.
Excessive wind is the main reason for calling off trips. We don’t want to call them off but safety is paramount. If it does happen you will be offered the choice of a full refund or rebook your time and date.
