Andy Jackson

A really mixed post, this one. Andy Jackson, a fabulous wildlife videographer came to Gairloch in March 2019 to film for BBC Springwatch with Bill and John. He achieved some extraordinary footage of Herring spawning – proof that if you allow the seabed to lie undisturbed, nature does what she knows is best. In this case, we have maerl beds which the fish need to spawn on, so they did…amazing.
