Meet Celia the Grey Seal (mum)

Come and meet Celia!

She’s a wild grey seal, one of a pair that tend to follow the boat in hoping we have some fresh fish on board. When this was filmed, August 2019, she was quite heavily pregnant (they give birth in the winter). Only Celia will hand feed, and so far, I haven’t been nipped, although once I was talking to someone on the pontoon and she came right out after my flapping hand!

If we have fish and she’s there, you can feed her too (at your own risk mind you!)
